Debut of a New Cleaning Species – XWOW Robot Vacuum and Mop!

According to recently announced financing information, XWOW robot, the first product researched and developed by a household service robot company ZBeetle Intelligence, was officially launched on December 1, 2021.

XWOW is a new species in cleaning field. Different from current sweeping robots and handheld floor scrubbers, XWOW features a dual-cleaning system. Apart from mop cleaning function in station, the robot itself also comes with automatic mop cleaning function. Simultaneous mopping and mop cleaning ensure better cleaning  performance. The pioneering crawler-type mop design ensures a larger cleaning area, efficient reverse rotation, and double force apply to the ground. What’s more, mopping efficiency and floor cleanliness are also improved. In addition to cleanliness and cleaning efficiency, ZBeetle Intelligence owns multiple core technologies. It was revealed that most of these technologies are embedded in XWOW robot.

Based on official disclosure, XWOW has 11 selling points, which are interpreted below:

I. Real-time automatic mop cleaning

One of the biggest differences between XWOW and other sweeping robots on the market is that XWOW features “real-time automatic mop cleaning. To ensure clean mopping, you need to keep mop always clean.” Most sweeping robots on sold can only return to the station to clean mop. Dirty mop in the robot has caused secondary pollution on floor when the robot returns to the station. This is an issue that is often ignored by most consumers. Second, the mop will get dirty soon when mopping soy sauce, ketchup, milk and other liquid stains. Most sweeping robots on the market need to return to the station for cleaning. During this process, floor is mopped by a dirty mop.

To solve this problem, XWOW robot embeds a mop cleaning system into the robot body for the first time. This cleaning system is composed of a clean water box, a sewage box, and a sewage collection device. When clean water is sprayed on floor to dissolve stains, the sewage collection device can collect dirt on mop to the sewage box at a rate of 90 times per minute. This automatic mop cleaning design ensures all-time clean mop and thorough floor cleaning, and avoids secondary pollution caused by dirty mops. This solves mop pollution problem during robot’s return to the station in most sweeping robots on the market.

II. Innovative crawler-type mop design

Is crawler-type design exclusive to tank? Does mop only have triangular dual-roller, roller, or sheet-type design? XWOW applies an innovative crawler-type design on mop. This innovative crawler-type mop has an unfolded area up to 510cm²*, enabling a super large contact area and higher cleaning efficiency by 98.2%*. This guarantees thorough floor cleaning.

III. 20N strong-force crawler-type mop

XWOW’s body applies 20N force to the ground reaches 20N*, which is twice of that of most similar products on the market (about 10N). Super strong force and high-speed reverse rotation of mop can remove stains like manual cleaning. XWOW can remove tough stains such as dry oil stain, coffee stain, and milk stain in an artificial manner. Its cleaning performance is significantly improved with a stain removal rate hitting 99.99%*.

IV. Entire house multi-scene cleaning capacity

With real-time automatic mop cleaning and strong-force stain removal function, XWOW has deep cleaning capacity and can easily clean living rooms and bedrooms, and even kitchens where heavy duty needed, and bathrooms where full of water stains. V. Integration of automatic sweeping, suction, cleaning, mopping and collection

What is worth mentioning is that XWOW can free up users while ensuring cleanness. XWOW integrates sweeping, suction, cleaning, mopping and real-time collection of dirt. By pressing Start Button, XWOW can complete the entire-house cleaning automatically. First, collect garbage on the floor in the suction mouth, and collect large or small particles in the dust bin. Then, spray cleaning water on the floor to dissolve stain and conduct deep mopping. Finally, the sewage collection device achieves real-time collection of dirt. With one click, this integration design can solve different cleaning requirements.

VI. Innovative arc station design

Unlike common quadrate structure designs on the market, XWOW Robot Vacuum and mop became the first to roll out an arc station design. As ZBeetle Intelligence disclosed, this design was originated from arches in Chinese classical architectural designs. Arch is emblematic of home in Chinese culture. VII. [1+3] 4-sensor navigation & obstacle avoidance system

The robot comes with a [1+3] 4-sensor navigation & obstacle avoidance system. LDS laser radar enables efficient and accurate mapping and route planning; the three-sensor linear laser obstacle avoidance system effectively solves collision, chances of being trapped, and charging problems so that the robot can move along the set path quickly without getting lost. Night cleaning and other special requirements can also be met.

XIII. 6000mAh* super-large capacity lithium battery

XWOW is equipped with 6000mAh super-large capacity lithium batteries from LG. In normal mode, it can cover a cleaning area of 200m2 after one charging. Super-strong battery life and international brand support give you greater peace of mind as you charge and use XWOW for cleaning.

IX. 99%* mop cleanliness & air dry rate

Apart from the mop cleaning system in robot, the station also has a deep cleaning system. This system consists of a clean water tank, sewage tank, mop cleaning device, and air dry device. When the station senses that the robot clean water is about to be empty and the sewage box is about to be full, it will call back the robot automatically. First, let robot sewage drain; then, spray clean water on the mop and conduct high-speed reverse rotation and cleaning; after cleaning, air dry mop at a mop cleanliness & air dry rate up to 99%, thus ensuring that the mop is always clean.

X. Dual-drive crawler-type obstacle crossing

Surprisingly, XWOW robot movement system is composed of left and right drive wheels, universal wheel and crawler-type mop. During cleaning, the robot’s left and right drive wheels and the universal wheel drive the robot to move forward, backward, make turn, and keep balance. This crawler-type mop design not only improves cleaning performance, but also serves as a drive to assist the robot in climbing and obstacle crossing. The robot is then capable of moving across the entire house smoothly and meet cleaning requirements in living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and balcony. 

XI. Personalized and customized clean mode

Using XWOW app, the user can switch between global cleaning, cleaning in selected areas, cleaning by division; set restricted zones; customize cleaning time, suction power, and mop humidity, and so on. Based on actual conditions, XWOW can mop with different cleaning power based on degree of pollution and achieve personalized and customized cleaning mode; meanwhile, XWOW supports remote control, Tmall Genie voice control with simple operation.
